Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, accurately inspecting and verifying items using RF scanners and inventory management systems
- Safely load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision, ensuring timely shipment fulfillment
- Organize warehouse storage areas efficiently, utilizing proper stacking techniques and safety protocols
- Conduct manual handling of goods, including heavy lifting, to move products within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and updates in the warehouse management system
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all warehouse activities, including heavy equipment operation and materials handling
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related roles with a focus on order picking and shipping & receiving
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks safely and effectively
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and materials handling procedures
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus for understanding equipment maintenance or troubleshooting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order processing
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Prior experience in supervisory roles or warehouse leadership is advantageous but not required
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence in accordance with OSHA standards
