Join our dynamic team as a Professional Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely and efficiently across various routes. You will be responsible for transporting goods over the road (OTR), ensuring compliance with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations. Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
• Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR driving routes.
• Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper cargo securing and compliance with safety standards.
• Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following strict hazardous materials regulations.
• Deliver freight efficiently to various destinations while maintaining excellent customer service and communication.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues and proper load securement.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and compliance documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains.
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation methods.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures for manual transmission vehicles.
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using manual handling techniques; experience with truck loading and unloading is preferred.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, hazard awareness, and defensive driving strategies.
• Knowledge of logistics cargo handling processes to ensure proper load securing and compliance during transit.
