The Market Operations specialist will work with the AlphaX US team, as well as the market operations team in Canada to provide specialized, experienced trading and technology support to our US Equities Participants in a trade floor environment, while supporting the effective operation of the trading platform.

This role is hybrid (3 days in the office/week) - based in New York City, NY.

This role is hybrid (3 days in the office/week) - based in New York City, NY.
Key Accountabilities
- Onboarding of new clients, including the set-up, administration of participating organizations and technology vendors.
- Support Participants with their market access needs, including certifying Participant technology and troubleshooting requests related to complex trading and/or technical issues, and setting / supporting Participant configuration changes.
- Support the effective operation of our core US equities production trading enterprise by; servicing cancel order and trade requests, system health monitoring, conduct exception report reviews, clearing support, and monitor trade activity
- Key member of our US equities contact center, providing extraordinary level one support to a wide range of Participants from traders and technology professionals, to business leaders and back office professionals
- Provide a continuous feedback loop with the broader AlphaX US team to ensure the optimal Participant experience.
- Engage in the business requirements, Participant readiness and user acceptance testing process for new equities trading corporate and operational deliverables
- Support the delivery of all Business Continuity, Incident Management and Disaster Recovery plans
- Advocate for continuous process optimization through Participant feedback and industry best practices
- 2 Years of US financial markets required
- A friendly, professional demeanor and ability to excel in a trading floor/team-oriented environment
- Passionate about the Participant experience with an analytical and problem solving approach
- Committed, quick to learn and grasp new technology and concepts while managing time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Active SIE and Series 99 certifications are preferred
- Knowledge of the FIX protocol is preferred
