What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician's Helper (Advanced) - Commercial Property Management Company position at TMT Properties?
Looking to hire a full-time Electrician’s Assistant with Advanced Skills to work on projects for our commercial Real Estate properties. You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. You will work closely with our Projects and Maintenance managers to ensure construction projects and maintenance issues are completed in a timely manner. Job site locations from Ft. Lauderdale to Stuart.
Responsibilities
- Wire circuit breaker with 110 and 220 wiring
- Troubleshoot issues with panels and wiring
- Run new conduit pipes and cables
- Knowledge of low voltage is a plus but not necessary
- Wire in new lights, switches, outlets
- Safely carry out rewiring and electrical demo work
- Install new electrical panels (preferred)
- Willing and able to work on 12’ ladders when necessary
- Typical day to day will be changing outlets, commercial 2x4’ lights and switches, troubleshooting any wiring problems caused by tenants doing their own work, and removing old electric from walls that are being removed.
- The position is not limited to electrical work. During times of low electrical need, aiding other trades may be required
- Reliable pickup truck or work van MANDATORY.
UP TO *$24.00 per hour based on experience. Mileage allowance cell phone reimbursement after 90 days. Health Benefits available, Paid time off.
Valid Driver’s License, U.S. Citizen and background/drug test required.
