Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in blueprint reading, metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly.
Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Perform MIG, TIG, welding with precision, ensuring compliance with ASME codes & standards
- Fabricate metal components using sheet metal work, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and machining tools to meet project specifications
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments for accurate fabrication and assembly
- Operate forklifts, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment safely to support fabrication tasks
- Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks during production processes
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, welding techniques.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and mechanical assembly
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices
