Job Summary
This position offers the opportunity to provide patient care using a breakthrough depression treatment. The TMS Technician's primary responsibility is to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of a treating physician. They also manage specific clinical services, interact regularly with patients, and complete additional office administrative tasks daily.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Explain and administer TMS Therapy to patients
- Monitor a patient for medical symptoms
- Provide medical intervention in an emergency situation
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with unforeseen circumstances
- Act courteously and with tact when dealing with patients, visitors, and the public
- Maintain patient confidentiality, HIPAA compliance
- Follow established treatment and office procedures
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in all reporting
- Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend
- Visual and auditory dexterity
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to travel to cover treatments in other area clinics
Qualifications and Skills
- Two-year degree or greater in behavioral or biological sciences is strongly recommended
- Health Care Clinical Professional, preferably with Behavioral Health Experience
- Two or more years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with
- Experience with data management software
- Experience addressing a patient’s medical conditions or symptoms, including basic life support certification
- Experience operating a medical/mechanical device
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Strong communication and organizational skills
