What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hot Loader Operator position at TMS International?

TMS is currently looking for a Hot Pit Loader at our Tuscaloosa, AL location.
Schedule: 5/2 -5/3 rotating shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in operating Caterpillar or Komatsu wheel loaders.
- Ability to work with Hot material such as slag and steel safely.
- Perform proper Preoperational inspection and write down findings.
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment before and after use such as cleaning windows, washing, and assisting with greasing.
- Good radio and work communication with other employees.
- Ensure equipment is safe and prepared for daily use.
- Communicate any unsafe findings or equipment damage immediately to supervision.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently.
- Maintain accurate and organized records as required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Reliable attendance required.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work
