We are looking for a Aggregate Sales Representative for our Northeast region, including Ivaco, Sayreville, and Auburn.
Job Description:
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction materials sales who is ready to drive growth and educate the market on the benefits of steel slag aggregate. The Aggregate Sales Representative will coordinate quality control testing, report on sales efforts, and work closely with customers and vendors across multiple sites.
Pay: $80,000 - $85,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for marketing steel slag aggregate to various industries
- Educating the market in the beneficial use of slag aggregate
- Coordinate Quality Control testing on slag materials as needed
- Monthly reporting on current sales efforts and potential opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; concentration in engineering preferred. Will consider work experience in lieu of degree
- At least 5 years’ experience in construction materials sales including aggregate, cement, asphalt, and/or concrete
- Strong aggregate technical sales skills (Knowledge of ASTM and AASTO aggregate specifications a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and face challenges with a positive attitude
