Purchasing and Inventory Lead

Aloha, we are looking for a self-motivated person who has computer experience, good driving record, excellent self-management skills, and good communication skills. We are located in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.

As our purchasing/inventory lead, you must be a reliable, hard worker with a can-do attitude, able to follow directions from supervisors and work well with fellow team members. Key responsibilities

Purchasing and Inventory Management

• Review and create purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment while staying within budgets.
• Coordinate and research cost effect shipping methods for products.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including receipts and shipments.
• Track inventory levels and movements to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Coordinate with management, on purchasing needs, inventory, and production, to meet business needs.
• Oversee the use of company credit cards and vendor accounts and ensure their security.
• Make certain all receipts are cost coded and turned into accounting.
• Work with company software to maintain and update all job-related documents.
• Maintain relative office project binders

Skills and qualifications

• Ability to learn new processes and procedures in a timely manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to keep work schedule of Monday through Friday with periodic flexibility.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, including inventory/procurement software.
• Ability to perform physical tasks like moving & receiving shipments, and able to lift 75lbs.
• Must have Current Valid Driver's License with dependable daily transportation.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with the occasional opportunity for overtime. The pay range starts at $27.50 hr. depending on your experience.
