EVS (housekeeping) BROWNSTOWN

Schedule: Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM
This position works EVERY weekend.

TMMG Building Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Housekeeper to join our team at Brownstown Hospital. This is a permanent night-shift position working every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Duties:

• Clean and disinfect assigned hospital areas according to established healthcare cleaning standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other assigned spaces.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean high-touch surfaces, including doors, handles, counters, and furniture.
• Restock paper products, soap, sanitizer, and other supplies.
• Follow proper procedures for handling waste and cleaning chemicals.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to a supervisor.
• Complete assigned duties thoroughly and within the scheduled shift.
• Follow all hospital safety, infection-control, confidentiality, and security policies.

Qualifications:

• Must be available to work every Thursday through Sunday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Applicants must understand that this schedule includes every Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night—every weekend.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, EVS, or healthcare cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working in a hospital environment.

Important Scheduling Notice:
This is not a rotating-weekend position. The selected employee will be scheduled every weekend as part of their regular Thursday-through-Sunday workweek.
