We are hiring a Retail Sales Representative / Inside Sales professional to drive direct‑to‑consumer automotive aftermarket sales for TMI Automotive Products, a leader in automotive interior restoration and aftermarket solutions.

This is a true sales role, not account management or customer support. You will own the customer interaction from first contact to close, managing inbound and outbound inquiries, helping enthusiasts and customers select the right products while converting demand into revenue.

You will be the front line of our retail business, directly impacting revenue growth, customer experience, and brand loyalty.

In addition to phone‑based inside sales, you will represent TMI at trade shows and industry events, engaging with customers and expanding brand presence.


Location & Schedule

  • On-site position
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
  • Occasional domestic travel for trade shows and events


Compensation

  • Full-time, salaried position
  • $70,304 base salary performance-based bonus
  • Bonus tied to revenue, conversion, and order value
  • High performers have strong earning upside
  • Long-term role with growth opportunity


What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls with retail customers
  • Own the full sales cycle from inquiry to close
  • Guide customers on product selection, fitment, pricing, and ordering
  • Drive conversions and maximize order value through upselling
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications
  • Enter and manage orders accurately in CRM systems
  • Provide post-sale support and resolve customer questions
  • Represent TMI at trade shows and promotional events
  • Support product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to grow retail revenue

  • Strong customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Accurate and timely order processing


What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of retail or inside sales experience
  • Strong closing ability and sales mindset
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
  • Comfortable discussing pricing and guiding purchase decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Passion for automotive products or aftermarket industry strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows


This role is best suited for candidates who enjoy owning results and engaging directly with customers throughout the full sales process.


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
