We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects throughout the Central U.S. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing project financials, client relationships, and field operations while turning complex projects into successful outcomes through collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and decisive leadership.
Working closely with Superintendents, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, you'll oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and with an exceptional customer experience.
Projects are primarily restaurant renovations and ground-up construction and typically last 60–90 days.
Office Location: This is an in-office position based in Noblesville, Indiana.
Travel Requirement: Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the Central U.S. for regular job site visits and as business needs require.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution while meeting client expectations, project schedules, and financial objectives.
· Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
· Collaborate closely with the Estimator during preconstruction by participating in bid kickoff meetings, reviewing subcontractor proposals, evaluating vendor pricing, and helping ensure complete project coverage prior to handoff.
· Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work to ensure complete project coverage.
· Manage project contracts, change orders, invoicing, forecasting, documentation, and financial reporting.
· Monitor project profitability and proactively identify opportunities to improve project performance.
· Partner closely with Superintendents to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
· Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
· Oversee project closeout, punch list completion, final documentation, and financial reconciliation.
· Report directly to the Director of Construction.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field required.
· 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
· Restaurant construction experience preferred.
· Strong understanding of commercial construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and building practices.
· Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting costs, invoicing, financial reporting, and driving project profitability.
· Proven ability to lead multiple projects while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
· Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience using Microsoft Office and construction management software, such as Procore and Trimble Spectrum.
· Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid driver's license.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
