Position Purpose:
Responsible for Enterprise Desktop Support Service operations and oversees team in developing, implementing, analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring contract activities and performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manages and oversees enterprise desktop support services, ensuring all policies and service level agreements are met.
- Oversees, identifies, tests, evaluates, designs, documents, recommends, and implements the best methods and most efficient approaches to determine areas of program improvement, including, but not limited to, desktop support recommendations to ensure that current and future needs are met; operating system, software or hardware improvements or upgrades; and purchasing of IT equipment.
- Oversees, develops, documents, and implements desktop support standards and change management policies and procedures.
- Coordinates the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources; maintains licenses and warranties for vendor support.
- Reviews and maintains security control documentation in support of organizational security requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Additional experience in desktop support or other related areas may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree on a year per year basis. (Experience requirements may be satisfied by full-time experience or the prorated part-time equivalent.)
Certification
- Microsoft certification, preferred
Experience
- Five (5) years desktop support in remote hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments
- Three (3) years management or supervisory
