Position Overview
At TMD Marketing, we’re looking for an Entry Level SEO Coordinator to support our growing team in executing data-driven SEO strategies for clients across multiple industries. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fundamentals of SEO and wants hands-on experience working on real campaigns that drive measurable results.
You’ll work closely with our SEO, PPC, and web teams to improve search visibility, increase organic traffic, and support conversion-focused website performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research based on client services, locations, and search intent
- Optimize website content including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and on-page copy
- Assist in creating SEO-focused content for service pages, blogs, and landing pages
- Monitor performance in Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Track keyword rankings and compile client-ready reporting
- Identify and resolve basic technical SEO issues (404 errors, indexing, redirects, site structure)
- Support internal linking strategies and site architecture improvements
- Collaborate with PPC and web teams to align SEO with overall marketing strategy
- Stay current on Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, coursework, or freelance experience in SEO or digital marketing
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog
- Interest in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience
