Solidworks Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented Solidworks Drafter to support our engineering and project management teams. This position is primarily responsible for designing and drafting sheet metal components and assemblies in Solidworks. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the company.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Drafting experience in a metal fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with the ability to create accurate models and drawings.
• In depth knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret project blueprints ensuring design accuracy.
• Understanding of architectural principles and their application to design, preferred.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop and modify designs.
• Produce accurate technical drawings and documentation in compliance with project requirements.
• Revise and update existing designs based on feedback or project changes.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing technical expertise in drafting and design.
