The Shipping Clerk ensures the accurate and timely movement of goods in our manufacturing facility. This role handles all shipping and receiving tasks, verifies orders, and manages inventory using warehouse equipment and ERP system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Nebraska driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse shipping environment preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
- Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and using inventory or ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in counting, recording, and verifying parts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Job Duties:
- Accurately prepare and process incoming and outgoing shipments, making sure that all products match order specifications.
- Verify part counts, quantities, and descriptions against shipping and receiving documents.
- Enter and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory data in the company’s computer system (ERP).
- Print labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
- Keep shipping and receiving areas organized, clean, and safe.
- Support other warehouse and inventory functions as needed.
