What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotic Welder Operator position at TMCO Inc?
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Trade school or technical training preferred
- Previous experience operating robotic welding equipment required
- Welding experience with MIG and/or TIG processes
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to understand and apply welding processes and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Experience working with different materials and weld requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to use basic welding and fabrication tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate robotic welding equipment according to work instructions
- Load and unload parts, fixtures, and tooling
- Monitor welding operations to ensure quality and production requirements are met
- Perform inspections of completed welds and identify quality concerns
- Make adjustments to equipment and processes as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on robotic welding equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete other duties as assigned
