Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 or 4 year degree in Drafting, Tool Design or Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
- Engineering Drafting and Solid Modeling skills
- Ability to read and understand Blueprints
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, excel, email)
- Excellent Problem solving skills
- Highly motivated to learn and take on new challenges
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in metal fabrication is a plus
Job Duties:
- Design weld fixtures, machining fixtures, gauges, etc.
- Verify customer files for manufacturing (.dxf or model)
- Blueprint reading, drafting and part modeling
- Troubleshoot and improve in process work
- Interdepartmental communication
