A nursing home receptionist serves as the primary point of contact, greeting visitors, residents, and family members while managing high-volume phone lines and administrative tasks. Key duties include managing visitor check-in protocols, scheduling appointments, distributing mail, providing clerical support, and maintaining a welcoming, secure environment.

- Visitor Management: Greeting guests, verifying identity, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols (sign-in/sign-out).
- Communication: Answering and routing multi-line phone calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries.
- Administrative Support: Sorting mail, filing documents, typing correspondence, and maintaining office equipment.
- Resident Support: Assisting with appointments, facilitating communication with families, and maintaining confidentiality.
