Banquet Manager
Baymont by Wyndham has immediate opening for a Full-Time Banquet Manager to oversee 4,000 square ft of multi-event space. Direct report with be in coordination with the General Manager and Brand Sales Manager. Full time 40 hours a week with flexible scheduling based off weekly event schedule.
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and well-organized Banquet Manager to support our inter-company meetings and provide all customers with an excellent banquet experience while going above and beyond all guest expectations. Your duties will include inventory control, high quality of services, banquet setup, banquet service during event, coordinating food & beverage and clean up and tear down event.
Hours: Wednesday-Sunday Flex Schedule
Banquet Manager Duties
· Exceptional ability to plan banquets, manage inventory, and meet deadlines.
· Experience in supervising banquet venue.
· Ability to collaborate with Brand Sales Manager and Event Coordinator.
· Extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements.
· In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry best practices and food safe certified.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Planning the venue layout according to the number of guests and the type of event.
· Supervising the placement of tables, chairs, cutlery, plates, glasses, table linens, centerpieces, heating lamps, serving utensils, and carving stations.
· Overseeing the seating of guests, the serving of meals and beverages, and the clearing of tables and all required clean up.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
