- Clinical Operations:Ensure residents receive exceptional, physician-directed care by making daily rounds, reviewing records, and assisting with complex care plans.
- Staff Management:Interview, onboard, schedule, and evaluate nursing personnel. Lead training on new procedures and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
- Compliance & Auditing:Guarantee facility adherence to state, federal, and local healthcare regulations. Assist with state surveys, infection control protocols, and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) projects.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration:Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and their families to resolve grievances and update care statuses.
Qualifications
- Licensure:Must hold a current, active, and valid Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience:Requires 2–3 years of long-term care or SNF experience. Previous management or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge:Deep understanding of healthcare management, electronic medical records (EMR), and regulatory standards (e.g., OBRA, state-specific codes).
