Using advanced thin-film and centrifugal molecular stills, TMC refines, purifies, and concentrates high molecular weight materials, including citrus oils, fish oils, and seed oils. Located in Waconia, MN, the facility spans 30,000 square feet, accommodating both large and small-scale processing projects.
We're looking for a hands-on Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to build, troubleshoot, upgrade, and support industrial equipment and automation systems. If you’re mechanically sharp, comfortable with electrical systems, and like solving real-world problems, you will thrive here. We're a small company so you'll 'wear many hats', but these are the primary duties.
What You’ll Do:
Electrical
- Build and upgrade industrial control panels
- Fabricate custom cables and wiring harnesses
- Read and interpret schematics and technical documents
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Work with DC and AC three-phase power (480V / 240V / 208V)
- Replace, configure, and tune: VFDs, Motors, Motor starters, Contactors, Overloads, etc.
Instrumentation & Testing
- Test, calibrate, and diagnose: temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors, etc.
- Perform leak checks, leak-ups, and DP testing
- Conduct flow curve testing and stack testing
- Document results accurately for engineering and operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mindset
- Familiarity with VFDs, motors, and control circuits
- Comfort with basic instrumentation and testing tools
- High character, reliability, and willingness to learn
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- SolidWorks or CAD exposure
- PLC wiring or programming experience
- Fabrication or light machining skills
