Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and debris from various locations within the facility using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Operate floor buffers, sweepers, and other cleaning tools to maintain cleanliness standards across all areas.
- Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning procedures, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety protocols.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move waste containers or bulky debris.
- Conduct routine sanitation of trash receptacles and surrounding areas to prevent odors and pest issues.
- Assist with general custodial duties such as floor care, minor repairs, and facility maintenance tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment.
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents.
- Experience operating floor buffers, sweepers, or other custodial machinery is a plus.
