Position Summary
The Talent Coordinator supports the recruiting and hiring process by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, maintaining accurate records in the applicant tracking system, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. This is an entry-to-support level role, ideal for someone looking to build a career in talent acquisition or human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process (confirmations, reminders, status updates)
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Post and manage job openings on internal and external job boards
- Assist with pre-employment steps (background checks, drug screens, offer letter prep)
- Support new hire onboarding coordination
- Partner with hiring managers and the recruiting team to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Assist with internal job posting processes and communications
- Perform other administrative duties to support the Talent Acquisition and HR team
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative support
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) is a plus, but not required
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
