Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
- Deliver products to customers’ locations promptly, following designated routes and schedules
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records throughout your shift
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving best practices
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages safely and efficiently
- Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or similar large vehicles with manual transmissions
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
driver certification preferred - Ability to navigate using GPS or route maps effectively in various traffic conditions
