Systems Programmer III – Db2 / Mainframe | Remote
TM Floyd is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer with Db2/z/OS experience responsible for maintaining, optimizing, troubleshooting, and supporting mission-critical database systems, including upgrades, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and 24x7 production support.

What You’ll Do:
- Install, maintain, upgrade, and optimize Db2 for z/OS
- Troubleshoot systems software and production issues
- Perform performance tuning, migrations, patches, and data movement
- Support disaster recovery and internal/external audits
- Provide 24x7 production support through an on-call rotation
- Work with DBAs and application teams to improve system stability and performance
Required:
- 4 years of IT experience with varied programming experience
- Db2, z/OS, SYSVIEW, Broadcom, or IBM mainframe technologies
- Strong systems programming, database, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
Schedule:
- 40 hours/week with flexibility between 7 AM–7 PM EST; some OT required

The ideal candidate is a Systems Programmer/Mainframe professional with 4 years of IT experience and strong DB2 for z/OS expertise, including systems software maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, upgrades, disaster recovery, and production support. Experience with SYSVIEW, Broadcom, and IBM mainframe technologies is highly valuable, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
