Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies that meet strict industry standards. Your expertise in various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes will be vital to ensuring our projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal components and assemblies.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and
welding techniques to join metals securely according to ASME codes & standards. - Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated parts.
- Conduct rigging, pipe threading, plasma cutting, and assembly of ductwork or mechanical systems on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to crane operation, forklift handling, and the use of power tools.
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and
welding. - Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for fabrication projects.
- Ability to operate machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and machining tools effectively.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to metal fabrication and welding practices.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement devices.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in rigging, pipe threading, soldering, assembly, and ductwork fabrication is highly desirable.
