Reporting to the office supervisor, this role will help ensure efficient patient flow, clear communication, and well-organized medical records and appointments.
Responsibilities
- Check patients in and complete patient registration.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records.
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Process patient payments and related transactions.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate relevant information.
- Provide administrative support to providers.
- Communicate professionally with patients and coordinate front-office operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in medical office administration.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and appointment scheduling software.
- Experience with insurance verification and patient registration.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
