Job Description: Environmental Technician

Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Technician for rewarding travel assignments across the United States. This role involves conducting environmental testing and assessments to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for environmental health and public safety.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze environmental samples (air, water, soil, and hazardous materials).
• Perform field inspections and site assessments.
• Maintain and calibrate environmental monitoring equipment.
• Assist in developing environmental reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Support spill response and hazardous materials investigations.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Travel to various locations and job sites as required.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, or a related field.
• Certification: OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an environmental technician or related role.
• Skills: Strong data collection, sampling, and reporting skills. Familiarity with environmental testing tools and software.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and adapt to diverse work environments.
