POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Resource Navigation Specialist is to oversee TLC’s community-based drop-in center and provide direct support and assistance for those connecting to the agency. Support and assistance includes, but is not limited to, resource navigation to address basic needs such as housing, transportation, and food, including contacting community agencies, filling out and submitting applications, arranging for transportation options, applying for public benefits, and advocacy. By serving as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator, the Resource Navigation Specialist will also play a supportive role for those experiencing or recovering from substance use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TIME ON TASK EXPECTATIONS
Resource Navigation (50%)
- Coordinate aspects of the Resource Navigation program at TLC
- Manage the referral and intake process for assigned programs
- Maintain adequate walk-in coverage at the Claremont office/Lebanon office
- Facilitate the compilation and upkeep of a resource list for TLC staff and a website list for the TLC community
- Support participants with workforce development tasks (i.e. resume development, really profiles, etc.)
Volunteer Coordination (20%)
- Recruiting, training, and coordinating new volunteers
- Oversee training and scheduling of volunteers to fill general volunteer roles
- Support and assist TLC Recovery Site Director in supervision of special projects.
- Support volunteers who may be working short-term projects within the center or at special event functions
- Assists with providing peer performance reviews for volunteers
- Review and update onboarding, volunteer guidelines, and qualifications for volunteers
Documentation (15%)
- Complete required electronic documentation and program-specific forms thoroughly, accurately, and on time using various data platforms as required by contract
- Accurately enter data into multiple data management systems
- Accurately report time worked using TimeWorksPlus
Meetings/Trainings/Supervisions (10%)
- Participate in supervision and self-evaluation
- Participate in required trainings specific towards resource navigation, the recovery field, and professional development
- Attend and contribute towards scheduled team meetings
Facilitate Groups (5%)
- Support facilitating recovery groups as needed/ available
REQUIREMENTS
- Intermediate computer skills
- Education and experience in recovery-based field preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Sullivan/Lower Grafton County
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
