Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor the client's health as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Run errands for the client, such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and other necessary tasks
- Transport clients to and from appointments, activities, and social outings
- Prepare nutritious meals according to the client’s dietary needs and preferences
- Help with mobility assistance, including transfers and walking support
- Provide regular updates to care coordinator on the client’s condition and needs
- Ensure the client’s comfort and safety at all times
Requirements:
Passion for providing care and support to others.
Excellent attendance record and reliability in fulfilling duties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Has Vehicle, Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Available to work in the mornings and afternoons
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Must be eligible to work in Fairbanks, Alaska.
