What are the responsibilities and job description for the Male In-Home Caregiver - Dementia Care Experience Required position at TLC Care Services?
Schedule: Every once or twice a week, 3:00 PM–7:00 PM
TLC Care Services is looking for a compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver to provide in-home support to a client in Anchorage. We welcome caregivers who enjoy building meaningful connections and helping clients feel comfortable, safe, and engaged in their daily activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and engage the client in games and enjoyable activities.
Offer standby assistance as needed.
Assist with incontinence care.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
Qualifications:
Male caregiver preferred.
Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and incontinence care required.
Ability to speak the client’s preferred language.
First Aid certification required.
Valid state ID and completion of an Alaska State Troopers background check.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
