About the Role
Responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting for multiple entities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and accruals
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Lead and mentor staff GL Accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Prepare and review Financial Statements
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencies in the GL process
- Utilize the ERP system
Qualifications
- 5 years of professional accounting experience or a Senior in public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience
- CPA preferred
