Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers the opportunity to showcase culinary knowledge and hospitality expertise while providing memorable guest experiences in a fine dining or lively nightclub setting.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Ensure guest comfort by addressing needs promptly and courteously
- Clear tables, bussing as needed to maintain cleanliness and readiness of the dining area
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties if required, maintaining food safety standards
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions confidently
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items and promote specials effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and food preparation is advantageous
- Hospitality background with a focus on guest services and guest relations is highly valued
