Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Panel Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mounting equipment and wiring electrical panels and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and manufacturing processes to support the production of reliable electrical assemblies used in various industrial applications.
Duties
- Assemble electrical panels by following detailed schematics and wiring diagrams
- Install PCB components, surface mount technology (SMT), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Wire electrical components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct quality inspections utilizing calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools to ensure proper assembly
- Maintain documentation of assembly processes and test results
- Collaborate with engineering team to interpret schematics and troubleshoot assembly issues
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing standards throughout the assembly process
Skills
- Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, electrical wiring, and schematics interpretation
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters
- Understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical experience in manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, assembly procedures, and mechanical knowledge for panel construction
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for precise assembly tasks
