What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Architect position at TKP Architects?
We’re a residential architecture studio that believes great design starts with listening — to our clients, our consultants, and each other. Around here, hand sketches still matter, collaboration happens constantly, and the best ideas can come from anyone in the room.
Our office culture is equal parts focused on studio and lively conversation. One minute everyone is deep in a deadline, the next someone asks a question out loud and three people are sketching solutions over tracing paper. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves.
Located in downtown Golden, our team enjoys mountain views, walkable lunch spots, office dogs, flexible schedules, generous PTO, and occasional post-work beer or hike. We encourage ownership, mentorship, curiosity, and work-life balance — because good design happens when people feel supported, inspired, and trusted.
Also worth mentioning: people tend to stay here. A long time.
If you’re collaborative, driven, curious, and passionate about residential architecture, we’d love to meet you.
