The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet hotel cleanliness and presentation standards. This role supervises housekeeping staff, coordinates workflow, performs inspections, and ensures efficient use of supplies while delivering excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and support the daily activities of room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff to ensure efficient operations
- Assign and manage daily room schedules and work allocations based on occupancy, priorities, and staffing levels
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, corridors, and service spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness, quality, and brand standards
- Train, coach, and motivate team members on housekeeping procedures, service excellence, and safety protocols
- Address guest requests and resolve complaints promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Ensure proper handling, usage, and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals in line with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate daily reports on room status, inspections, maintenance issues, and team performance
- Collaborate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless room readiness and efficient turnaround
- Enforce company policies, grooming standards, and workplace health and safety compliance

- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Work schedule varies and includes working on holidays, and weekends.
