About the Role
We’re looking for a Network Specialist who loves solving problems, thrives in a fast-moving environment.
This role gives you a mix of hands-on networking, client support, project work, and the autonomy to make decisions that actually matter.
What You’ll Do
Network Engineering & Support
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, and firewalls
- Support and secure remote access solutions (VPNs, SSL, IPSec, etc.)
- Troubleshoot complex network performance and connectivity issues
- Optimize Wi-Fi systems and implement best practices
- Use monitoring tools to proactively catch and resolve issues
Security & Compliance
- Apply security policies and hardening standards across clients
- Support compliance initiatives like PCI, HIPAA, and internal audits
- Assist with onboarding clients into standardized security stacks
MSP Operations & Support
- Serve as a escalation point for helpdesk
- Work with the team to improve processes, documentation, and standards
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
- Help deliver projects such as:
- Network rebuilds
- Firewall upgrades
- Server migrations
- Wi-Fi redesigns
- New location IT deployments
Client Communication & Relationship Building
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Help guide them through issues and project outcomes
- Represent TKG’s values in every interaction
Scorecard & Success Metrics
- Strong client satisfaction and communication
- Dependable follow-through and project execution
- Stable, well-documented client networks
- Proactive identification and resolution of recurring issues
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of networking or MSP experience
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
- Familiarity with SonicWall, Cisco, UniFi, or similar hardware
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and curiosity
- Great communication and documentation skills
- A drive to learn, improve, and take ownership
