TKDA is a 100% employee-owned engineering, architecture, and planning firm serving clients nationwide. As a Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in driving our success across our core markets that include transportation, industrial and manufacturing, buildings and sites, and water. Your responsibilities will include crafting compelling, compliant, and responsive content for responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs. In addition, you will manage a library of proposal-focused content. You will collaborate with proposal specialists, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other team members to develop high-quality proposals that help TKDA win new business. Utilizing your expertise, you will craft persuasive narratives that highlight our innovative solutions and technical excellence, ultimately contributing to our growth and market leadership.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Technical Writing, or a related field
- Two or more years’ experience in a professional writing role
- Advanced knowledge of content creation software (Microsoft 365 and Adobe InDesign)
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content, such as project profiles, resumes, and standard and project-focused content, that effectively communicates the company's capabilities and solutions to audiences of all skill levels
- Collaborate with Market Development to understand clients’ needs, market trends, and competition, ensuring content is tailored to meet specific requirements
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client guidelines. Must be able to follow style guidelines, such as voice, tense, capitalization conventions, and formatting/layout conventions
- Work closely with proposal specialists, technical teams, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure content aligns with the company’s objectives
- Perform quality reviews on proposals to ensure content is clear, consistent, and adheres to style guidelines
- Manage content development for multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Manage a library of proposal-focused content such as project profiles, resumes, and standard content
- Experience in content writing within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
- Experience using the Gregg Reference Manual as a standard for business writing
- Experience using a content management platform or system
- Experience using generative AI to provide efficiency and consistency in written content
