The Reablement Assistant facilitates an innovative cognitive and physical restoration program at Kemper House Highland Heights.
The ideal candidate engages clientele in a positive and upbeat manner and contributes to a curriculum that is designed to improve cognitive abilities as well as overall health and performance of older adults, helping them live more independently. Days and hours vary by location, and a weekend rotation may be required.
The Ideal Candidate(s) have the following qualifications:
Teaching/Training/Coaching experience;
Effective classroom management skills;
Strong communication skills and the ability to be adaptive and creative;
Sense of humor and ability to bring enjoyment to the group while instructing.
Brain Health / Neuroscience experience and a Bachelor’s degree is helpful but not required.
Salary: Negotiable depending on demonstrated qualifications and experience.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, and PRN.
