Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely, while adhering to all safety regulations and operational guidelines.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, and graders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites using commercial driving techniques.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to Caterpillar machinery, tankers, and various types of loaders.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate dump trucks and perform commercial driving tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of grader operation and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
