TK Elevator is currently seeking Elevator Technicians for the Houston area. You will be responsible for the successful completion of work aligned with Service, Repair, New Installation and/ or Modernization while meeting both customer expectations and profitability measures.
- Monitors and analyzes the function of mechanical and electrical components as necessary to troubleshoot, adjust or repair the equipment
- Preforms preventative maintenance task including visually inspecting, manually cleaning and lubrication elevator systems and components in a controlled or non-controlled climate field setting.
- Establishing and strengthening business relationships with owners, property managers, building engineers and union business agents is a key part of this job.
Who We Are Looking For
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years related work experience as a mechanic or technician in a commercial setting.
- Must have demonstrated strong mechanical reasoning and comprehension skills plus hands-on mechanical aptitude.
- Relocation assistance may be considered.
- This position requires the ability to be a self-starter and work independently with little supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
