Account Manager- Service/Repair (Charleston)

TK Elevator is currently seeking an Account Manager- Service/Repair in Charleston, SC

Responsible for successfully securing and maintaining service accounts and developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers so that the branch meets annual revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Exceeds sales goals and quotas by utilizing company tools for service growth and cancellation reduction.
• Develops ongoing relationships with customers and build an understanding of their needs and wants. Includes building relationships in BOMA and other associated groups.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth through the acquisition of new service customers, expanding market share within assigned territories and targeted vertical markets.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify, pursue, and secure new service agreements while fostering long-term customer relationships.
• Generate qualified sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market intelligence activities.
• Maintains a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training classes and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information. Includes developing knowledge of local elevator code requirements.
• Prepares service contract bids. Includes surveying equipment when necessary and interfacing with operations personnel for additional input and approvals.
• Receives and responds to written and oral questions related to quoted service contracts. Includes performing follow-up with customers on all service proposals.
• Monitors the status of current service contracts by visiting job sites and customers within assigned territory, ensuring customer satisfaction with service; resolves outstanding issues.
• Utilizes Salesforce tool to update and manage sales pipeline
• Assists in A/R collection efforts to ensure prompt payment from customers.
• Conducts customer follow-up on all proposals.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
  
  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of related sales experience, elevator sales or industry experience
• Experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in elevator strongly preferred
