Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our medical imaging team. Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures across various modalities, including general, vascular, and specialised imaging such as mammography and CT scans.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring their comfort, and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including technical notes and images captured during procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to protect patients and staff.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and provide comprehensive reports.
- Keep equipment clean, calibrated, and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technology through ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proficiency in general sonography techniques with experience in specialised areas such as mammography and CT imaging.
