Job Description

The Scheduling Clerk is responsible for coordinating schedules and appointments between doctors and patients.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum Work Experience

• Experience in patient registration and clinic scheduling preferred.

Required Skills

• Must be able to multi-task, and possess customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Scheduling, rescheduling, canceling and confirming patient appointments.
• Courteously receiving incoming telephone calls and entering phone messages as needed.
• Provide positive and courteous customer service over the phone while maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Maintains a good working relationship with physicians and their staff. 
• Other duties as assigned.
