The Role

As a Production Lead, you play a critical role in ensuring packaging operations are executed according to defined specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will provide oversight and guidance to production lines, support team performance, and ensure compliance with all operational and regulatory requirements.

This role acts as a key support to the Shift Lead and front-line production teams, helping drive consistency, accuracy, and execution on the production floor.

What You’ll Do

📦 Packaging Specifications & Execution
• Develop a strong understanding of Packaging Specifications and related documentation
• Ensure packaging activities are performed accurately according to specifications
• Communicate and demonstrate required tasks to meet packaging standards
• Identify and suggest improvements to packaging processes and execution

⚙️ Production Oversight
• Oversee end-to-end production line activities, including cleaning, line clearance, setup, and execution
• Support production teams to meet operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance requirements throughout operations
• Act as a point of support for Line Leaders and production team members during shifts

📋 Documentation & Compliance
• Review in-process production paperwork for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Ensure batch records meet cGDP and cGMP requirements
• Support documentation accuracy and help resolve issues identified during production

🎓 Training & Team Support
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to Line Leaders and Packagers
• Reinforce adherence to packaging requirements and operational standards
• Support development of team capability and consistency across production lines

🤝 Communication & Team Collaboration
• Partner with internal teams to support smooth production flow and information sharing
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to team engagement and morale
• Communicate clearly with Shift Leads and team members to address issues and priorities

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated production environment preferred
• Strong leadership presence and ability to support and guide team members
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety practices
• Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
