The Job:
Total Joint Orthopedics (TJO) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day transactional activities within our ERP system, maintaining accurate supplier and purchasing data, supporting supplier communications, and ensuring supply chain information is current and reliable.
This position plays a critical role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly by supporting Buyers, Planners, and Supply Chain leadership with administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and is motivated to build a career in supply chain management. Employees in this role will gain exposure to purchasing, planning, supplier management, inventory control, forecasting, and medical device manufacturing operations. This position is intended to provide a career path into Buyer, Planner, Analyst, and other Supply Chain roles within the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system.
· Update supplier acknowledgements, promised delivery dates, and order status information.
· Maintain supplier open order reports and proactively follow up with suppliers regarding delivery commitments, past due orders, and updated promise dates.
· Escalate potential shortages, delays, and supply risks to Buyers and Supply Chain leadership.
· Review and process supplier order acknowledgements and maintain accurate ERP data.
· Attend supplier meetings and document action items and follow-up activities.
· Create and maintain Lot History Records (LHRs) and other quality and supply chain documentation.
· Support inventory, purchasing, supplier performance, and KPI reporting.
· Assist with inventory analysis and shortage management activities.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding purchase order status and expected delivery dates.
· Support Buyer/Planners, and Supply Chain leadership through purchasing, reporting, and operational support activities.
· Assist with special projects, audits, process improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned.
The Basics:
· Must be available Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
· Must work onsite at TJO headquarters.
· Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Professionally communicate professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
· Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
What We Need:
· Associate degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
· 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, operations, purchasing, customer service, or supply chain-related role.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel proficiency with sorting, filtering, data manipulation, and basic data analysis.
· Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar platforms preferred.
· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Previous experience in manufacturing, medical device, or other regulated industries preferred.
· Interest in developing a career in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or Manufacturing.
· Comfortable working in a growing organization where priorities can shift and team members wear multiple hats.
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
· Legal authorization to work in the United States.
