🛠️ What You'll Be Doing

• Responding to and completing resident work orders
• Performing general building repairs and maintenance
• Drywall repair and patching
• Interior and exterior painting
• Plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Door, lock, and hardware repairs
• Preventive maintenance throughout the community
• Apartment turns and move-in preparations
• Carpentry and general handyman repairs
• Facility inspections
• Common area maintenance
• Grounds and exterior upkeep as assigned
• Assisting with special projects and renovations
• Responding to maintenance emergencies when necessary

This position requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, completing a high volume of work orders, and providing excellent customer service to residents.

📞 On-Call Rotation

This position participates in our Maintenance On-Call Program.

Maintenance team members rotate on-call responsibilities, which generally results in being on call for approximately one week per month.

Candidates must be willing and able to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies when assigned to the rotation schedule.

• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
• Preventive maintenance programs

Experience working in a large community, campus environment, apartment community, healthcare facility, or similarly sized property is highly preferred.

📋 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of work orders
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation
