Join our dynamic team as a Petroleum Field Technician / Installer and play a vital role in supporting the aboveground storage tank industry’s infrastructure. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing critical equipment on aboveground storage tanks. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient operations while adhering to industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with heavy equipment, advanced control systems, and mechanical components in a fast-paced environment that values safety, precision, and proactive problem-solving.
- Install and commission aboveground storage tank equipment, including pipelines within bulkplants, control systems, and heavy machinery on-site at various locations
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment.
- Installation of rigid conduit
- Conduct inspections of existing tank storage systems and mechanical systems to identify issues early and prevent failures, generating a summary document of findings.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a secure work environment such as confined space entry, hotwork, OSHA 10, etc...
- Document all installation activities, maintenance procedures, and repairs accurately for compliance and reporting purposes
- Prior experience working on aboveground storage tanks is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline systems, heavy equipment operation, welding, painting, layout and equipment repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks regularly
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting procedures
- Strong construction background or experience working with heavy construction equipment is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with a timely and meaningful message,
- Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions or prints
- Clean driving record, mobile work will be required periodically.
- High school diploma or higher education
- Experience with welding, cutting, threading, painting and critical thinking. Must be an effective speaker.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
