We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to execute project requirements accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate work schedules and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols by utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and following OSHA standards.
- Document work performed through detailed reports and logs for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Assist in training apprentices or less experienced electricians when needed to promote team growth.
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license (Required)
- Valid Driver's license and means of getting to work On-Time (Required)
- Proven experience working as a licensed electrician in commercial and residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, circuitry, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics with precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering strictly to safety regulations.
- Applicant must be willing to take and pass drug screenings.
